Hunter Valley Chardonnay 2011
The fruit flavours of the Chardonnay grape have been complexed by a combinaton of barrel fermentation in new and 1 year old French Oak bariques. A wine not only rich in fruit flavours but complexed with oak and yeast characters. The wine has an excellant balance of acid and fruit and although ideal for immediate drinking will continue to improve with 2 to 3 years bottle ageing. |

Hunter Valley Verdelho 2009
Since first producing Verdelho in 1986, the Drayton's Verdelho has been consistently recognised and sought after for its great intensity of fruit flavour and lasting freshness. The wine is medium to light straw in colour with a fresh and youthful green tinge. The aroma is brimming with lemon, lime and hints of herbaceousness. The palate is soft and round with tropical fruit flavours throughout and a crisp, clean, acidic finish.

This Semillon is made in the traditional Hunter Style. The wine has a critrus-like aroma with a soft, full, clean and fresh flavoured palate. With 5 to 7 years bottle maturation the wine will develop into a rich, toasty and smokey, full bodied wine, a style for which Hunter Valley has become famous.

Hunter Valley Bin 5555 Shiraz 2011
A rich full bodied red wine made in the traditional Hunter style, being deep cherry red in colour with a peppery, fruit aroma. The wine has extremely soft tannins and rich, spicy flavours, complexed with aged oak. This wine will continue to improve with 8 to 10 years bottle ageing.

A rich full bodied wine, with a deep, crimson-red colour. The wine has a great intensity of lifted fruit flavour, complexed with oak and with a soft tannins finish. Vineyard Reserves Chardonnay 2009
Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown on the Drayton family Bull Paddock vineyard, planted in 1965. The wine is light, golden yellow in colour with a slight green tinge. The aromas are of fig and tropical fruits with obvious and well-integrated French oak and yeast complexity. The wine has a soft, round palate with layers of flavour and a perfectly structured mouth feel. Rating : JH 94

Vineyard Reserves Merlot 2007
Made from 100% Merlot, the tenth harvest from vineyard planted at the foothills of Mount Bright in Pokolbin. The wine is crimson red in colour with a dark centre. The aroma has integrated oak characters together with traces of berry fruit. This Merlot has a complex tannin structure and an extended palate that is complimented with excellant fruit flavours.

Vineyard Reserves Shiraz 2007
Made from 100% Shiraz grapes carefully selected from our Bellevue vineyards adjacent to the winery. The wine being deep, crimson red in colour with a dark dense centre. Subtle oak vanillin characters compliment the spicy, berry fruit aromas. This Shiraz has a very consistent palate, medium oak tannins and well-balanced fruit flavours. This wine will continue to develop with 5 - 8 years bottle maturation. Rating JH 87 points |

Suzanne Semillon 2006
Made in the traditional Hunter Semillon style, the Susanne Semillon was produced with no oak maturation. The wine has an attractive honey bouquet with a soft, full bodied, fruit flavour finishing with a crisp dry acidity. Rating: JH 95 points |

William Shiraz 2010
Since released in 1988, William Shiraz has become recognised as one of the Hunter's classic Shiraz wines. Made only in limited quantities from the highest quality Shiraz grapes selected from some of the valley's oldest vineyards planted over 100 years ago. The wine is deep crimson in colour with intense berry fruit aromas complexed with oak. Complex flavours showing hints of leather, earth, pencil shavings with a spicy finish. Wine will continue to improve with 10 to 15 years maturation.

Joseph Shiraz 1999
Joseph Shiraz is a wine only produced in those years when the fruit is of excpetional intensity and flavour and has the potential to develop in the bottle for many years. The wine has been carefully cellared for ten years and realeased at a stage of development that shows classic traditional Hunter Shiraz at its best. Joseph Shiraz will continue to develop with a further 5-7 years of correct cellaring. The wine is named after Joseph Drayton who first established vines in Pokolbin in the 1850's.

Pioneer Port
This is a blend of fine aged tawny port specially selected by the winemaker and cellared in large oak casks at the winery. It is rich and flavoursome without excessive sweetness and with a soft fruity finish.

Botrytis Semillon 2008
This wine is rich golden straw in colour with a slight green hinge. It has lovely apricot, honey and botrytis characters on the nose. There is a refreshing level of acid and sugar on the palate with lingering apricot and honey characters. While it is drinking very well, it will benefit from 2 – 3 years of bottle maturation. It is well suited to lemon tarts or similar medium sweetness citrus deserts. |
