Passione  100% Primitivo Salento IGP

A lot is written about the origin of the grape Primitivo.  The word Primitivo is derived from the word " first " or " prima " in Italian because the grapes mature earlier with respect to others.  Passione, a wine with a deep ruby red colour, has elegant fragrances, with a rich spicy taste.  The wine is full bodied given to the softness of the tannins and the versatility of matching with many Mediterranean dishes.
